Oregon Women in Timber’s 26th Annual Auction

Oregon Women in Timber invites you to the

79th Annual Oregon Logging Conference and Oregon Women in Timber’s 26th Annual Auction to benefit the award winning forest education program, Talk About Trees!  The Auction will be part of the Meet & Greet festivities at the Eugene Hilton Hotel & Conference Center on Wednesday, February 22th, 2017. The doors will open at 4:00 PM, where the fun begins.  Enjoy hosted beer & wine and a hearty buffet while viewing the amazing silent and live items offered.

Over 2.9 million students and adults have participated in a Talk About Trees classroom program since 1991!  Talk About Trees is a statewide forestry education program focused on increasing student’s knowledge and awareness of forestry. This on-site, hands-on science unit is offered to pre-school through eighth grade students free of charge and is presented by Talk About Trees facilitators.

Oregon Women in Timber is a volunteer organization. Your support makes a difference!  A contract with the Oregon Forest Resources Institute offers the primary financial support for the Talk About Trees program, but just as critical is support from our annual auction, grants and the many generous donations from individuals and businesses just like you.  This assistance and confidence enables Talk About Trees to continue educating Oregonians, young and old, about the valuable resources in our renewable forests.

Please take a moment to consider how you can help keep this program going. Your attendance at our auction (

download the ticket form,) a direct cash donation or donation of an auction item will help us to continue our success and reach even more students this school year.  Donations such as trips, jewelry, tickets to sporting events, hunting & fishing items or artwork are always a big hit.

Oregon Women in Timber & the Oregon Logging Conference continue to work together to raise funds for the OLC Scholarship Fund and Talk About Trees by selling a 2017 commemorative lapel pin for $100 (download the order form.)  The sale of each pin gives you an opportunity to support future generations and also a chance to win a Mystery Money Jar filled with at least $500. The winner does not need to be present to win.    Remember – all donations and purchases are tax deductible.  Oregon Women in Timber is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

To assure acknowledgement in our auction booklet we must receive your donation and or reservation by February 1, 2017.

Thank you for your continued support for forestry education!
